FDP at KIT Campus NorthKlaus Hoher

Visit by the FDP/DVP parliamentary group

  • On 16 September 2025, a delegation from the FDP/DVP parliamentary group in Baden-Württemberg, led by Dr. Hans-Ulrich Rülke, visited the KIT Energy Centre on the North Campus. After a welcome by Dr Walter Tromm, scientific spokesperson, and Dr Wolfgang Breh, managing director of the centre, the KIT team presented its current research priorities.
     

    The focus was on topics such as energy efficiency, storage technologies, networks, and electromobility. In a technical exchange, the MPs discussed current issues relating to climate protection, security of supply, and technological openness.

     

    The delegation included Klaus Hoher, spokesperson for nature conservation, agriculture, forestry and forestry management, and Georg Heitlinger, spokesperson for agricultural policy, food industry, consumer protection, economic development and cooperation.
