Inspiring visit: H.E. Maithaa Saif Majid Al Mahrouqui, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Germany, visits KIT for talks on energy, hydrogen, and cooperation.

On 27 October 2025, the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) welcomed the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Germany, H.E. Maithaa Saif Majid Al Mahrouqui, for an intensive exchange on research and cooperation.

In talks with Prof. Thomas Hirth (Vice President for Transfer and International Affairs) and Prof. Christoph Hilgers (KIT Centre for Climate and Environment), the focus was on insights into Oman's higher education and research system and possible areas of cooperation.
